It is to be noted that the second instalment of the R Madhavan and Akshaye Khanna co-starrer has been filmed; it is currently in post-production. However, continuous mention of 'Bade Sahab' in the film, especially by Sanjay Dutt's character SP Chaudhary Aslam, a man who has been pulling strings from behind, has got the internet curious about who he is. It is established that the mysterious person holds immense power, despite operating out of Pakistan. Well, according to the chatter online, fans are theorising that 'Bade Sahab' might be one of the notorious gangsters - Dawood Ibrahim, Masood Azhar, or even Osama Bin Laden.
Supporting the speculations, a section of the internet thinks that the mysterious character might be Dawood Ibrahim because it is mentioned in the film's cast list. Yes, you read that right! According to a report by News18, the cast list mentions that actor Danish Iqbal will be essaying the role of Dawood Ibrahim in the upcoming film.

On the other hand, a section of the internet feels like Masood Azhar might be Bade Sahab. If you remember, during the opening sequence of the film, Madhavan's character Ajay Sanyal is seen negotiating the release of Indian hostages during the IC814 hijacking in Kandahar. The negotiations had led to the release of Azhar along with Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh and Mushtaq Ahmed Zargar.
Another theory suggests that Bade Sahab could be Osama Bin Laden, since the movie is set in the time period when he was still alive and was operating from the shadows.
Well, no matter what the conspiracy theories state, one thing is for sure: Dhar seems to have planned on exploring the secret connections between the authorities of different countries so that international crime and terrorism can take place.
For those who haven't watched the film yet, the first film dives into the tale of how Ranveer Singh's character infiltrates Pakistan and one of its most influential gangs, rising up through the ranks so that he can pass on intel to India. Devastated over the happening of 26/11 attacks, he pledges to take revenge against the people involved in the terror attack. It is to be seen what the second instalment of the film has in store for the audience.
