New Orleans Saints quarterback Spencer Rattler and his girlfriend have been dating since high school
Spencer Rattler and his longtime girlfriend, Yazmina Gonzalez, have grown up together.
The couple first started dating in high school, and over the past decade, they've supported one another through countless milestones, from championship games to graduation days.
Rattler, now a quarterback for the New Orleans Saints, made his mark early on the football field, playing for the University of Oklahoma and the University of South Carolina before being drafted into the NFL in 2024.
Gonzalez, meanwhile, was a standout athlete in her own right, playing varsity volleyball throughout all four years of high school at Pinnacle, where the pair first met, according to her National College Student Athlete Recruitment bio.

Both Gonzalez and Rattler share athletic backgrounds. The two first met at Pinnacle High School in Phoenix, where Rattler was already making a name for himself on the football field.
Gonzalez was also an athlete on the varsity volleyball team all four years as an outside hitter, according to the National College Student Athlete Recruitment site.
Their early romance was featured on the docuseries QB1: Beyond the Lights. In one scene, Rattler is spotted stealing kisses as Gonzalez stretches in the gym, and later, the cameras follow him proudly supporting her from the stands at one of her volleyball games, where she played alongside his sister, Olivia Rattler.
The ultimate high school sweethearts, Rattler and Gonzalez shared the quintessential milestone of going to prom together.
In 2018, the quarterback posted a series of photos on X that showed the couple dressed to the nines in coordinating black-and-white ensembles. Gonzalez completed her look with a necklace bearing Rattler's name.
The snapshots captured all the classic prom night moments, including Rattler carefully placing a rose corsage on Gonzalez's wrist before the two posed together in front of a white convertible.

Having been together since their teenage years, Gonzalez has become a part of the Rattler family. After being Olivia's teammate in high school, the two appear to have remained close as Gonzalez frequently comments on her Instagram posts.
When Olivia graduated from college, Gonzalez celebrated the milestone on Instagram, writing in a comment on her post, "So exciting!!! Proud of you liv❤️."
In August 2025, Gonzalez joined Rattler's sister and mom in a visit to the Saints stadium in New Orleans, posing for a photo with Olivia and Rattler. Olivia shared the post on Instagram, under which Gonzalez commented, "My girl 🥰."
When she's not cheering on Rattler, Gonzalez enjoys a trip. The former volleyball player often shares glimpses of her beachside getaways on social media, where she documents everything from lounging poolside to playing in the surf.
During a July 2023 trip to Turks and Caicos, Gonzalez posted a sun-soaked series of photos showing her walking along the shoreline, relaxing under the sun and soaking up the tropical scenery.
"At peace here," she wrote under one post, under which Rattler's mom, Susan, commented, "So beautiful ❤️."
Though Gonzalez and Rattler keep their relationship private, the proud girlfriend has occasionally celebrated his successes on social media.
After Rattler completed an impressive play in an August 2024 game, Gonzalez reposted the NFL's video of it on her Instagram Stories, writing, "Love to see it."
Rattler made it clear early on that his loyalty was to Gonzalez. During a lighthearted Q&A at a University of Oklahoma game in 2019, he was asked by Elite Athletes via a fan-submitted question which celebrity he'd most like to take on a date.
Rattler initially answered, "I like Niykee Heaton, she's a singer," but quickly doubled back, adding with a smile, "I've got a girl though!"
