Hallmark's Lisa Hamilton Daly Exits as Programming EVP

Her position was cut in an executive restructuring at the feel-good network

Lisa Hamilton Daly has exited her role as Hallmark's EVP of programming, according to media reports.

Hamilton Daly, who joined the network in 2021, has departed Hallmark as her position as EVP as the network eliminates the position altogether. The move was made in an executive restructuring aimed at aligning Hallmark's "consumer-facing touch points, including content, under a single leader," according to a spokesperson from the network.

"Hallmark is aligning its consumer-facing touch points, including content, under a single leader, Chief Brand Officer Darren Abbott, with a focus and expertise in the expression of the Hallmark brand to consumers -- from product to experiences and now content, across multiple platforms," a Hallmark spokesperson said in a statement to media. "Darren has an innate understanding of the Hallmark brand and paired with his leadership and vision, will ensure our content aligns to the promise of our legacy brand."

The statement continued by explaining the position of EVP of programming was "eliminated" and Hamilton Daly will "depart the company." "Lisa is an extremely talented creative leader and we are grateful for her many contributions to Hallmark Media including expanding our storytelling and characters in new ways," the statement continued.
